We recently added a new purchase to our family. I guess we are now officially grown-ups. Meet the Nimbus 2000... (OK, for you Harry Potter fans you know about the Nimbus 2000, the color of the car is called Nimbus Gray, so of course I made the connection.)

Yard Sale Cuties

Norah waves bye-bye as she grabs her daddy's keys. Unfortunately for her the driving age in NJ is 17. She's got a while to go yet.

At least Eliza's eating the cookie instead of the leaves.

We recently held a yard sale and for some reason nobody wanted to buy a set of twins. Go figure!

Reading time. This is a rare occasion where they aren't fighting over the books. Most of the time they are stealing them from each other and biting the other in anger. Or they are eating the books.

Eliza says: you can never have enough books on your lap. You never know when your sister will snatch one from you so it's always nice to have a back-up.

I've tried to put clips in Eliza's hair but as soon as Norah spots them she rips them out. Then they end up passing it between them to chew on it. Oh well. Maybe someday they'll stop picking on each other (yeah right).

The Girl's First Birthday

Eliza and Norah celebrated their first birthday on July 22! Hard to believe we made it through a whole year! Here they are examining their cupcakes. Eliza ended up dropping hers on Horton (our cat) and Nana had to chase after him to wipe the chocolate off. Norah wasn't too sure about her cupcake, while Eliza pretty much ate the whole thing. This is pretty much a before shot.

Beach 2008

The Zooklets get Baptized

The girls were baptized on May 4, 2008. Here's mom and dad with the girls and their sponsors, Kristin (Amanda's sister) and Karen (Kris's sister).

Sometimes they share toys well, but recently they've begun to complain when one steals a toy from the other. There have been quite a few battles over toys already. Can't imagine what it's going to be like when they are older.
